Nollywood actress/producer, Nkiru Sylvanus has revealed that she doesn’t mind being a second wife. Speaking with Channels Tv’s Sunrise on Saturday she said that:
“If the situation and the person is good, I would go for it".
Nkiru who also spoke on her alleged romantic affair with Governor Rochas Okorocha said:
"There is really nothing wrong with being a second wife at all, but I am not dating Okorocha".
She further confirmed that she is still single, but not searching. It was reported last year that Nkiru Sylvanus returned to Nollywood after been relieved of her job by Gov. Rochas Okorocha as the Special Assistant on Lagos Affairs for the Imo State Government. Meanwhile the movie ‘The Voice’ which Nkiru was reportedly shooting with her crew in Owerri, Imo when she was kidnapped last year with her lead actor Kenneth Okolie and held captive for days will premiere on Sunday 13th July 2014 at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

Charly Boy has been asked to apologise to a Top Govt official in Imo State for embarrassing him at his father’s funeral or die! Several days after the burial of Justice Oputa in Imo State, the son of the deceased was reported to have fled Imo State to Abuja after receiving threatening messages and phone calls. Charly Boy was said to have cut short his rest in Imo State and may have returned to Abuja. Charly Boy was said to have assaulted a top government official last week in Oguta, during his father’s burial ceremony, a development which may be responsible for the unrest he’s currently battling with. News filtered into town on Thursday that Charly Boy, as he’s fondly called, received a text message threatening to have him killed should he fail to apologise to a top government official who he was said to have embarrassed. He initially ignored the messages but after the threats persisted, he voice out to his spokesperson. On behalf of Charly Boy, his spokesperson spoke about the alleged threat:
“Charly Boy told me that he was threatened but did not tell me who the caller is or where he or she called from. He had to rush out of Imo State on Thursday evening, because his life was no more safe in the state. I don’t know more than that for now”.

In a recent interview while at Mauritius, Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic speaks about her popularity as a Nollywood actress. She said:
“The reason Nollywood became big is because we tell very simple stories. Stories that anyone in the world can relate with and I think that has given us that name and recognition.”
Rita also stated that she does not get used to people admiring her work as an actress, stating that she takes every compliment as it comes and ensures that she does better jobs because, according to her, it helps in an artiste’s popularity.
“I don’t get used to people telling me they are my big fans. As they always say, you are as good as your last job and you might do a job that the public may not like, and your popularity starts going down (at that moment). I just take every day as I see it. So, I never get used to anything. What I do is to get better as an actor and try to improve on my talent,” she explained.
